DR. PATRICIA HARDY, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, DNP

Dr Patricia Hardy works with children, teens, women, and families, focusing on how behavioral changes (sometimes coupled with medication) can improve their psychological & physical well-being. When addressing the concerns of a child, Patricia includes the whole family system. Patricia received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University. Patricia Hardy is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. She holds a Doctorate from Mass General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals. Patricia has more than 30 years of experience in medicine, with a career working with patients in emergency services, both in psychiatric and primary care situations . Patricia’s practice focuses include emergency psychiatry, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. A mother of three adult children, Patricia is passionate about early intervention in pediatric mental health, decreasing the generational stigma attached to mental health, and helping patients to overcome issues through a holistic approach. Patricia’s clients can expect patience, warmth, compassion, understanding, and honest communication. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry. Patricia is passionate about how function can be improved through behavioral changes & medication. She is committed to being part of a holistic and integrative treatment team, with you, the patient, being at the center of that team. Patricia is accepting new virtual (CT, NY, VA) as well as in person patients (Westport, CT) at this time.
